Disconnect Active Connections through the Crunchafi Data Extraction Portal
The Crunchafi Data Extraction Portal allows users to disconnect active access tokens—used for seamless data collection from accounting systems like QuickBooks Online, Xero, Oracle NetSuite, and Sage Intacct—by opening the workspace, navigating to the Manage Active Connections tab, and clicking the trashcan icon, with alternative disconnection methods available through the respective accounting system settings.
Disconnecting Active Connections via the Crunchafi Data Extraction Portal
Follow these steps to disconnect access tokens directly from the portal:
When you connect to an online accounting system for data collection, a token is stored temporarily (typically for 90 days). This applies to QuickBooks Online, Xero, Oracle NetSuite, and Sage Intacct.
This stored token allows Crunchafi Data Extraction users to request new reports from their clients when data has been updated, instead of repeating the connection process. However, there may be times when you need to disconnect Crunchafi Data Extraction from the system early or at the end of a project.
To disconnect an active connection from the portal:
- 1.Find and open the workspace from the list view.
- 2.Go to the Manage Active Connections tab.
- 3.Click the trashcan icon under the Actions column.
Alternatively, company administrators can disconnect from the settings in their accounting systems. Refer to the relevant articles for more information:
