How does Crunchafi’s Data Extraction product work?

The product connects directly to a client’s accounting system or ERP via APIs, extracting the financial data in one fell swoop via a temporary, read-only connection. The data is standardized, validated, enriched, and delivered in a single pre-built Excel workbook.

What accounting systems does it work with?

Connections can be made with QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, Oracle NetSuite, Xero, Sage Intacct, MYOB, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Beta).

What data is extracted by the product?

Only the financial data required for analysis is extracted, such as Financial Statements, AR/AP transactions, Trial Balances, Chart of Accounts, and General Ledger entries. Sensitive information, like customer or employee personal details, is never pulled unless manually entered into General Ledger notes.

Who can access the extracted data?

Only the requesting accounting firm can access the extracted data. A copy can be shared with you upon request for review. No other parties will have access unless you grant permission.

Where is the data hosted?

Data is securely hosted on Microsoft Azure in the United States, protected by encryption and industry-standard security measures.
