Lease Accounting Software Company Invests in Client Success
LeaseCrunch, a Wisconsin-based lease accounting software company, has launched a dedicated Account Management Team led by newly appointed Director Jenny Hein to support CPA firms in adopting lease accounting standards like ASC 842 and IFRS 16, aiming to enhance client success through specialized change management and resources, and currently serves 175 CPA firms including many top-ranked firms.
LeaseCrunch, a Wisconsin-based lease accounting software company, has announced the introduction of an Account Management Team and the hiring of a Director of Account Management.
This new department is designed to maximize CPA firm clients' investment in lease accounting software and to meet their needs throughout the software adoption process and beyond. According to Mike Cooke, Vice President of Business Development, "One of the biggest challenges with any software rollout is change management and adoption. The Account Management team's sole focus is helping our firms navigate the adoption with their clients by using tools and resources that no one else is using." The addition of this department is positioned as an investment in client success.
Jenny Hein has been appointed as Director of Account Management. She brings over 20 years of experience from Motus (previously Runzheimer), where she held various Account Management roles and aided in the implementation of technical software solutions for some of the world's largest organizations.
Cooke explains that the Account Management team and Director are critical for client success, especially as CPA firms adopt the software in response to new lease accounting standards, including ASC 842, GASB 87, GASB 96, and IFRS 16.
LeaseCrunch's cloud-based accounting software is designed to be simple and to automate required deliverables, addressing the main challenges of these standards. The standards are effective for government entities in fiscal years starting after June 15, 2021, for physical-asset leases, and after June 15, 2022, for SBITA leases. For non-public organizations, the standards are effective in fiscal years starting after December 15, 2021.
LeaseCrunch has already signed 175 certified public accounting (CPA) firms, providing them with full access to its services and assisting in lease transitions. Of these, 91 are within the top 400, and 21 are among the top 100 CPA firms in the United States.
