Why is the start date, end date, term or classification grayed out?
The start date, end date, term, or classification fields are grayed out because the Lease Term Guidance Wizard and/or Classification Wizard are set as required and must be used to complete or adjust leases, with these settings controlled by Administrators under Administration > Policies.
Why is the start date, end date, term, and/or classification grayed out?
There are usually two reasons fields related to the lease term or classification are disabled
- 1.The Lease Term Guidance Wizard and/or Classification Wizard are set as required and must be used to complete all leases.
- 2.The wizard was already used and will need to be used again to make any adjustments (e.g., revisions). Click on the wizard and walk through the flow.
To confirm if one or both wizards are enabled, go to Administration > Policies and check if boxes are selected for the following:
Require Lease Term Guidance Wizard for every Lease
Require Classification Wizard for every Lease
These settings can only be enabled or disabled by Administrators or Accounting Administrators.
